Kelly wins second consecutive A-Sun Player of the Week
MACON, Ga. – Preseason Player of the Year Alex Kelly led Lipscomb to their 12th consecutive win, earning the fifth Player of the Week award of her career, the conference office announced on Monday.

The Lady Bisons pushed their win streak to 12 matches and ran the table with a 10-0 record in the first round of the A-Sun round robin. The junior middle hitter tallied her 13th double-double of the season against USC Upstate Friday night.

The Lady Bisons also beat Murray State on the road Tuesday. Kelly tied for the match-high in digs against USC Upstate with 11 and she notched a match-high 19 kills at Murray State. Both were 3-0 decisions. The USC Upstate win was the 100th for Head Coach Brandon Rosenthal at Lipscomb.
