Power outage could lead to changes in Saturday schedule for volleyball

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fans of Lipscomb volleyball, due to the potential of having no power on campus Saturday afternoon, we want to inform you of our contingency plan for our match with USC Upstate should that be the case.

An important transformer on campus must be replaced immediately, and for that to take place, all power must be shut down on campus from 11 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.

If no problems arise during the repair and power is restored by 11 a.m. Saturday, then our 3 p.m. match with Upstate will be played at Allen Arena as planned. However, should they run into problems and power is not back on by 11 a.m., Lipscomb officials will move the match to Ensworth High School with first serve still set for 3 p.m. Admission would be free for all fans.

Once the decision is made, that information will be disseminated over LipscombSports.com and Twitter. Please check back around 11 a.m. Saturday for updates.
