Recorded 177 kills, 2.42 per game. .100 hitting percentage (177 kills, 122 errors, 551 attempts). Made 78 digs (12 RE), 1.07 dpg. Credited with 11 blocks (two solo, nine assists), .15 bpg. Played five games in three matches (Wofford, Campbell, UT-Chattanooga). Against UT-Chattanooga fihished with season highs in kills (22), attempts (59) and digs (eight). 2003: Played in the Southeastern Conference for Auburn University. Played in 20 matches, starting in 13 and played in 53 games out of 101. Second on the team in digs with 132, an average of 2.49 per game. Finished with 107 kills, an average of 2.02 per game, the sixth best per game average on the team. Also made 10 blocks (one solo, nine assists). Recorded a season-high 17 kills vs. Bethune-Cookman. Twice had a 35 attempts (Kentucky, Ole Miss). Post season-high .714 hitting percentage vs. Georgia (five kills, no errors, seven attempts). Credited with season high 18 digs vs. Kentucky.
High School: An All-State performer for Brentwood High School in 2002. The Lady Bruins were state champions all four seasons Cox was on the team. Named to East-West All-Star Team in 2002 and 2003. All-District, All-Region, and All-Midstate in 2002. Also first-team All-District in 2001. Also was a varsity softball player. Played for Impact VBC club team for coach Jay Golsteyn.
