Will Osburn is the Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning at Lipscomb University. He has served as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Lipscomb Volleyball program since 2007, coaching them throughout their A-Sun conference championship seasons in 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011. In addition to meeting the team's Strength & Conditioning needs, Will works extensively with Baptist Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists on injury prevention and post-surgery return-to-sport protocols and necessary exercises and corrective movement strategies to prevent recurrence of injuries in Lipscomb's athletes.
Will received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lipscomb University in 2002 and received his Masters of Education from Lipscomb in 2007. He has been a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2003 and received the Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach (RSCC) designation from the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 2011. He is certified in the Functional Movement Screen and has specializations in Dynamic Movement Assessment, Dartfish Movement Analysis, and Reactive Neuromuscular Training.
Will and his wife, Shelly, former Lipscomb Track & Field and Cross Country athlete, reside in Nolensville.
