Jada Mincy joined the staff in July 2011 following a two-year stint at McNeese State.
With the Cowgirls, Mincy worked with the post players, along with serving as the team’s scouting coordinator. She also handled the important role of recruiting coordinator for the squad during her two seasons in Lake Charles, La. The 2010-11season saw McNeese State bring home their first Southland Conference Regular Season and Tournament championships advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time where they fell to eventual national champion Texas A&M.
Prior to her stop with the Cowgirls, Mincy was a standout forward for the Ole Miss Rebels from 2003-07. Her senior season proved to be a special one for the Memphis native as Mincy captained the Rebels to an Elite Eight appearance in 2007.
The two-time SEC honor roll selection also went on to capture Female Athlete of the Year honors for the Ole Miss athletics program capping off her career in Oxford, Miss. Starting 33 games and averaging nearly 30 minutes a night during her senior campaign, Mincy finished second on the squad in rebounding averaging 7.4 boards-per-contest.
Mincy graduated from Ole Miss in 2007 and went on to spend two years in pharmaceutical sales where she ranked in the top four percent as a sales representative.
