NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Lipscomb women’s basketball team looks to close out the pre-holiday schedule with a win as it takes the short drive to Clarksville for a 7 p.m. contest against Austin Peay.

The Lady Bisons are looking for their second win of the season after falling to Tennessee State 69-60 Tuesday night. Freshman Presley Stastny led Lipscomb with 16 points while Hannah Phillips added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Lipscomb paces two in double-figures as Phillips averages 12.3 points per game while Stastny adds 10. 

Meg Bussabarger and Leslie Martinez, who both average double-digits with 11.6 and 10.4 points per game, respectively, lead Austin Peay. Martinez leads the team with 6.7 rebounds a game and is second with 2.4 assists per game.

The Lady Govs are coming off a 75-44 loss to Arkansas State on Monday and previously beat St. Catharine 84-62 on Dec. 9.

In common opponents, APSU fell to Vanderbilt 67-36 at the end of November while the Lady Bisons fell 62-45 in their second game of the season against the Lady ‘Dores.
