The Game

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons (4-23, 2-15 A-Sun) travels to DeLand, Fla., for its final road game against Stetson (5-22, 5-13 A-Sun) Saturday afternoon.  Game time is 2 p.m. CT from the Edmunds Center.

Lipscomb lost 64-45 to Florida Gulf Coast Thursday evening after turning the ball over 15 times in the first half and falling behind early.  FGCU had a 60-38 advantage in attempts from the field.  Jenna Bartsokas led the Lady Bisons with 15 points while Anna Bowers added 10 points off the bench.

Forward Ashli Jackson sank four three-pointers and scored a season-high 20 points Thursday evening against Belmont at the Edmunds Center, but it wasn't enough as the Stetson women's basketball team fell by a 79-52 score. Belmont led 41-20 at the half.

Stetson holds the series advantage 7-6.  Lipscomb defeated Stetson 79-60 in Allen Arena on Jan. 2.  Freshman Chelsea McMeans had a career-high 17 points with seven rebounds off the bench.  The Lady Bisons had 22 assists on 27 baskets while committing a program record low six turnovers.
