LEXINGTON – Incoming women’s basketball freshman Morgan Turner has been named to the roster for the 75th annual Kentucky-Indiana All Star Classic.
The game will take place on Friday, June 12 in at the Clive Bark Center on the campus of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.
Turner, a standout at Meade County High School, was one of 12 players named to the Kentucky roster for the girls’ game.
The rosters are comprised of the athletes from all across the state, including Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) Regional Players of the Year, Mr. and Miss Basketball honorees, and players who were selected by KABC Coaches of the Year.
Each year the Kentucky-Indiana All Star Classic is a showcase for the best high school basketball talent in the two states.
The girls’ game will take place at 5:30 p.m. followed by the boys’ game at 8.
