Women's hoops set to host Wright State Sunday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb women’s basketball team will gear up for its second game of the season as the team hosts Wright State Sunday afternoon inside Allen Arena.

The Lady Bisons are coming off an 80-74 victory over Georgia Southern kicking off the season with a 1-0 record. Senior Sara Bliss led the team tallying 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Sunday’s tilt will be the first-ever meeting between Lipscomb and Wright State. The Purple and Gold competed in the Wright State Invitational last season, but never saw the Raiders as an opponent during the tournament.

The 2 p.m. match will be broadcasted live on ESPN3. To purchase tickets to Sunday’s event, call (615) 966-HERD or click here to purchase tickets online.
