JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With two consecutive Atlantic Sun victories in a row, the Lady Bisons are looking to continue their streak in Jacksonville on Saturday against North Florida.
Lipscomb (7-11, 2-2) heads into the matchup with a sense of confidence after their 75-63 dispatching of the Jacksonville Dolphins. The win gave the Lady Bisons their first back-to-back double-digit A-Sun victories since December 2010.
Four Lady Bisons scored in double-figures for the game. Ashley Southern led the way with 18. Danay Fothergill, Sara Bliss and Alex Banks added 16, 12 and 10 points respectively. Chandler Cooper also contributed nine points.
The Ospreys (10-9, 1-3) come into the game having defeated Northern Kentucky 81-79 in double overtime. The win snapped a three-game A-Sun losing streak for North Florida. Destinee Smith led the Ospreys in scoring with 19 points. Paulina Zaveckaite notched a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
