NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Bisons are looking to continue their three-game win streak intact with the Atlantic Sun Conference leading Florida Gulf Coast Eagles coming to town Thursday night.

Lipscomb (8-11, 3-2) has yet to defeat FGCU (18-2, 5-0) in A-Sun play in 14 previous matchups. The two teams last met in the first round of the 2014 A-Sun Conference Tournament, with the Eagles notching a 92-53 win.

The Lady Bisons latest outing resulted in a 71-62 victory on Saturday over North Florida on the road. Danay Fothergill led the way with 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists en route to winning the A-Sun Player of the Week. Sara Bliss, Ashley Southern and Chandler Cooper all tallied double-digit scoring nights as well with 14, 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Eagles enter the matchup on a 13-game winning streak, with their latest victory coming on Jan. 24. They defeated Kennesaw State on Saturday 61-47 at home. Kaneisha Atwater scored 32 of the team’s 61 points on 13-19 shooting.

  • The Lady Bisons are ranked 11th in the nation and second in the A-Sun in three-pointers made per game with an average of 8.5. Florida Gulf Coast leads the A-Sun and is ranked third nationally with a 10.2 average.
  • Fothergill is shooting 45.2 percent from three-point range, which is tied for first in the A-Sun. The mark is ninth overall in the NCAA.
