NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Bisons basketball team is looking to halt a six-game losing streak against Jacksonville University Saturday in Allen Arena.

The Lady Bisons and the Dolphins have met 23 previous times, with Jacksonville leading the all-time series 13-10. However, Lipscomb has won the last two matchups, including a 75-63 victory earlier this season.

On Thursday, Lipscomb lost to North Florida 57-54 at home despite a career-high 22 points from senior Sara Bliss. Bliss shot 9-13 from the field and 4-6 from behind the arc. Danay Fothergill notched a double-double in the game with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

In their most recent outing, the Dolphins defeated Northern Kentucky 75-62 on the road. Four Dolphins finished in double-figures for the game. Briona Brown led the way with 22 points. Sherranda Reddick (13.9) and Brown (11.0) are the Dolphins’ two leading scorers.

• Fothergill’s 43.5 three-point field goal percentage is good enough for second in the A-Sun and 17th in the country.

• The Lady Bisons are ranked 10th nationally in three-pointers made per game with an average of 8.5. They are ranked second behind Florida Gulf Coast’s 10.0 average in the A-Sun.

• Ashley Southern is averaging 8.4 rebounds per game ranking her 4th in the Atlantic Sun. She led the A-Sun in rebounding in the 2013-14 season with an 11.4 mark.

• Emily Eubank is leading the A-Sun in assists per game with a 4.3 average. She ranks 87th in the country in the category.

The game starts at four, and will be streamed on ESPN3. Live stats will also be available.
