MACON, Ga. – Danay Fothergill and Emily Eubank were both awarded Atlantic Sun All-Conference honors for women’s basketball Tuesday afternoon.
Fothergill was named to the A-Sun All-Conference Second Team. The senior’s prolific three-point shooting placed her third in the A-Sun and 16th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage with a .426 mark. She is second in the conference in three-point field goals made per game at 2.1. She also ranks fourth in the A-Sun in free throw percentage at .825.
She finished the regular season with per game averages of 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Eubank was a unanimous selection to the A-Sun All-Freshmen Team after leading the conference in assists per game with a 4.2 average. She has led the Lady Bisons in assists 19 times this season, and started every game.
She averaged 4.6 points and 2.4 rebound per game.
The awards are voted on by the A-Sun’s head coaches.
The Lady Bisons will be back in action Friday night at 7 eastern in the first round of the A-Sun Conference Tournament against Stetson.
