Women's basketball to host Military Appreciation Night

NASHVILLE – At the Lipscomb women’s basketball season opener on Friday against Loyola (MD) the Lady Bisons will be hosting a Military Appreciation Night in concurrence with Veterans Day.

The game will tip-off at 6:30 in Allen Arena with festivities happening throughout the night.

A military ID will grant the free entry of a group of four, and the first 150 people through the door will receive a free military appreciation shirt.

The nation’s colors will be presented by Whites Creek, and the national anthem will be performed by a local veteran. Camo Bison hats will be sold throughout the night to benefit the Campus Veterans Organization.

There will also be a special halftime presentation, as well as a post-game autograph session with the team.

Susan Lee, Lipscomb’s Veteran Services Certifying Official, partnered with the women’s basketball team to put together the Military Appreciation Night, giving the Lady Bisons a chance to honor the veterans on campus.
