Inside the Herd: Emmy Allen

Next up in the “Inside the Herd” series will be freshman Emmy Allen. Allen comes from Brentwood, Tennessee where she played guard at Ravenwood.

What’s been the biggest difference between high school and college basketball so far?

“The pace of the game is a lot different. Everything is really quick, and everyone is really quick."

What’s been the biggest off-court difference between the two?

“Making new friends here has been a transition. I grew up with the same people my whole life, so college has been a change. I didn’t really know anyone when I came here.”

How did you hear about Lipscomb?
“I grew up in Nashville and have lived here my whole life, so it was something I already knew about.”

What off-court hobbies do you have?

“I love to rock climb.”

Coach Brown’s thoughts on Emmy:

“Emmy has come in and given it her all every day. She’s really pushed everybody in practice. She represents our team so well on and off the floor.”
