Trish Hodgson-Carruth, a former coach, teacher and student at Lipscomb University passed away Thursday night, Jan. 8, after a long battle with cancer and complications. She was known for her professionalism, honesty and integrity. She was inducted into the Lipscomb Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.

The Lady Bisons showed a sustained energy level on the court that has not been seen in quite some time. This is an athletic team that can move the ball up the court, play a strong transition game, play good defense and rebound the basketball.

The Lady Bisons will be playing several Ohio Valley Conference teams this season starting with the regular season opener Nov. 15 at Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn. This year's Atlantic Sun schedule also returns to a 20-game round robin format. The A-Sun tournament also returns to Allen Arena March 4-7.
