Lipscomb head coach Bill Taylor has announced the team awards and achievements for the 2011 cross country season, which saw his program earn its first-ever Atlantic Sun Championship title.
In her first-ever marathon, Lipscomb track and field graduate assistant and former Lady Bison athlete Jenny Randolph did the incredible: she qualified for the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Classroom success isn't just expected for the Lipscomb cross country teams. If you want to be a member of Bill Taylor's squad, a 3.0 GPA is a requirement.

The Lipscomb cross country teams closed out the 2011 season at the NCAA South Regional, Saturday. The women's squad finished a program-best seventh, while the men earned a 13th-place finish.
