The Lipscomb men's and women's cross country squads were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their grades during the 2012 race season. Individually Dani Walker was named Academic All-American.
Lipscomb head cross country coach Bill Taylor has announced the team awards and season honors for the 2012 Lipscomb Cross Country season.
Dani Walker became the first ever Lipscomb runner to be named to the All-South Region team as the Lady Bisons finished seventh Friday morning at the NCAA South Region at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
Friday morning in Tallahassee, Fla., the Lady Bisons, back-to-back Atlantic Sun Champions, will participate in the NCAA South Regionals.
The Atlantic Sun Conference awarded Lipscomb University's Tessa Hoefle the 2012 Atlantic Sun Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Thursday morning.
