Lipscomb's women's cross country team was one of 205 Division I schools to achieve USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team status, the coaches association announced Monday.
Lipscomb head coach Bill Taylor has built the Bison program into one of the top in the Southeast. Before coming to Lipscomb, he created a program from scratch at Northwest (Wash.) University and won a national championship in women's cross country.

In her first-ever marathon, Lipscomb track and field graduate assistant and former Lady Bison athlete Jenny Randolph did the incredible: she qualified for the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Classroom success isn't just expected for the Lipscomb cross country teams. If you want to be a member of Bill Taylor's squad, a 3.0 GPA is a requirement.
