Lipscomb University cross country and track coach Karen Robichaud has announced the signing of Paloma Floden from Chattanooga, Tenn.

Floden, 5-foot-6 ½ , was an All-State athlete on the Class A-AA level in 2003, 2004 and 2005 for Chattanooga Christian School.

She also was named "Best of the Preps" in 2003.

"I was very impressed by Coach Robichaud and the women's cross country team," said Floden. "I liked that there are so many programs of study from which to choose. And I also liked the city of Nashville."

She is the daughter of Lisa and Tom McLaughlin.
