Brittney Beard of Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., has signed to play golf for the Lipscomb University Lady Bisons. Beard made four consecutive appearances in the district, region and state tournaments. She is a 2002-2003 All-State golfer and finished eighth in the state tournament. Brittney is the daughter of Tim and Teresa Beard. She was also recruited by Western Kentucky University and Austin Peay State University.
