The Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf team opened the fall season with a 12th place finish in the Lady Red Wolf Classic hosted by the University of Central Arkansas.

The 14-team event was held Monday and Tuesday at the Jonesboro Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark.

Katie Pursell was the top finisher for the Lady Bisons, tying for 33rd with a three-round score of 242 (78-83-81).

Brie Rowdon tied for 49th with a score of 250 (86-79-85).

Lindsey Beard finished in a tie for 57th with a score of 253 (82-85-86).

Rounding out the team scoring for the Lady Bisons were Ashlee Catlin with a score of 258 (84-86-88), tying her for 62nd, and Allie Pancake, tied for 66th after shooting a 265 (88-90-87).

Mary Leigh Baker played as an individual and finished tied for 36th with a score of 243 (83-80-80).
