The Lady Bisons closed out the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Club in Kaneohe, Oahu Wednesday.

The Lady Bisons finished 12th with a team score of 1,004 over three rounds with scores of 338, 333 and 333.

Texas A&M won the event with a team score of 907 (306, 201, 300). The tournament is sponsored by the University of Hawaii.

Katie Pursell led the Lady Bisons with a score of 242 (79, 81. 82). She finished in 40th place overall.

Lindsey Beard tied for 53rd with a 250 (87. 84, 79).

The remaining members of the team, Haley Rowdon, Ashlee Catlin and Mary Leigh Baker all finished in a tie for 58th with a score of 258.

Rowdon shot rounds of 87, 83 and 88. Catlin had rounds of 85, 85 and 88. Baker’s scores were 88, 86 and 84.
