The Lipscomb Lady Bisons closed out their first tournament of the fall season at the Murray State Drake Creek Invitational.

Katie Pursell finished in a tie for 20th to lead the Lady Bisons. She closed out the tournament Tuesday with an 81 to give her a three-round total of 236. Pursell’s 72 in the second round Monday was the only round under 80 for a Lady Bisons golfer.

Also shooting an 81 in the final round was Mary Leigh Baker. He three-day total was 245. Baker tied for 40th.

Lindsey Beard shot an 82 in the third round for a total of 250, good enough for 49th place.

Allie Pancake’s 83 gave her a three-round score of 254. She finished in 51st place.

Maggie Siddons tied for 52nd after shooting an 83 in the final round.

Host Murray State won the tournament.
