Lipscomb women's golf returns to action on Monday and Tuesday to close out the 2013 fall campaign in the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate in Boonville, Ind.
The tournament is a 14-team field hosted by the University of Evansville at the Quail Crossing Golf Club. The course is a par-71 that covers 5, 081 yards.
The last time out for the Lady Bisons, the Purple and Gold finished ninth in the F&M APSU Intercollegiate.
Lipscomb will send senior’s Savanna Schubert and MacKenzy Carter, junior’s Sami Khan and Morgan Bucher and sophomore Miriam Parker.
Khan leads the Lady Bisons with a 78.3 stroke average over seven rounds this season, while Schubert is second with an 80.3.
The tournament field will consist of five top-200 teams according to the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Wichita St. is the highest at No. 143. Other teams include Northern Iowa (167), Indiana St. (171), Butler (186) and Lipscomb (197).
