After finishing the second round Tuesday in eighth place, the Lipscomb women's golf team slipped to ninth overall Wednesday with a 312 for a 54-hole total of 937, three strokes behind eighth place USC Upstate at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons have moved from ninth to eighth after day two of the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships. MacKenzy Carter carded a 75 Tuesday at the Jekyll Island Golf Club to lead the Lady Bisons.

The Lady Bisons competed in the first day of the Atlantic Sun Golf Championship on Monday in Jekyll Island, Ga. Savanna Schubert shot the low score for the Lady Bisons with a 76. Lipscomb is in ninth place heading into Tuesday.

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf team is in Jekyll Island, Ga., this week for the Atlantic Sun Women’s Golf Championship which begins Monday.

The Lady Bisons captured first place in the Division I section of the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee State at the General’s Retreat Course at the Hermitage Golf Course Tuesday.

In Monday’s first round the Lady Bisons fired a 325 as a team on the General’s Retreat Course at Hermitage Golf Course. Belmont is in first with a 319 over 18 holes. Lee University is in second with a score of 321.

The Lipscomb women's golf team plays a 36-hole tournament at the Generals Retreat Course at Hermitage Golf Club beginning Monday.

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf team finished 15th in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Hawaii.
