Lady Bisons close out A-Sun Tourney in 10th place

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons finished in 10th place in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament which ended Wednesday at the Venetian Bay Golf Club in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Mary Leigh Baker moved into a tie for 34th on the final day.

Lady Bisons lose in dual match with Belmont

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf team played Belmont's women's team Wednesday, losing 353-320 in the dual match at Old Hickory Country Club. Katie Pursell led the Lady Bisons with a score of 80 over 18 holes.

Harston to use eBay to raise money for golf programs

Buddy Harston, coach of the Lipscomb men's and women's golf teams, has decided to use eBay to raise funds for his programs. He has Masters flags signed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Phil Mickelson and a Ryder Cup flag signed by Kenny Perry which will be on sale after Thanksgiving.


Pursell, Siddons lead Lady Bisons in dual with Belmont

The skies parted in Nashville Thursday afternoon allowing the Lady Bisons to face off with Belmont in the Battle of the Boulevard Dual at Old Hickory Country Club. Belmont won with 308 strokes to Lipscomb's 330.

Barry Brewer Bison Golf Scramble set for Sept. 17

The Barry Brewer Bison Golf Scramble has been scheduled for Thursday Sept. 17 at Kenny Perry's Country Creek Golf Course in Franklin, Ky. The event has helped to supply student-athlete scholarships for the past 23 years.
