Lady Bison golf fighting for position in Hawaii

KANEOHE, Oahu - The Lipscomb Lady Bisons golf team is in a Hawaiian paradise, but their first round score in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational has dampened their fun in the sun.

After the first 18 holes the Lady Bisons are in 16th place in the 54-hole tournament at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course Tuesday.
The Lady Bisons finished with a team score of 327, 39 over par.

Danielle Grace led the Lady Bisons with a first round 80 to tie for 54th place. Mackenzy Carter and Sami Khan are tied for 71st after each scored an 82. Miriam Parker is tied for 76th with an 83. Savanna Schubert is tied for 84th place with an 86.

The other teams in the tournament field are Arizona, Central Connecticut, Gonzaga, Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, Idaho, Illinois State, New Mexico, Louisville, Mississippi, Ohio State, San Francisco, Seattle, Texas-El Paso and Washington State.
