Lady Bisons golf falls by three in dual match with Belmont

NASHVILLE, TENN. - The Lipscomb women’s golf team hit the links Monday in a dual match against crosstown rival Belmont at Old Hickory Country Club in Old Hickory, Tenn.

Belmont bested the Lady Bisons by a score of 310 to 313.

Morgan Bucher led the Bisons after carding a 75. Bucher’s three-over par earned her the individual medalist for the match.

With a 77, Miriam Parker tied for the third lowest score of the day.

Sami Khan, last week’s DoubleTree Invitational winner, posted an 80.

Savanna Schubert (81) and MacKenzy Carter (82) rounded out the Lipscomb team scores for the day.

Competing as an individual, Sabrina Ferreri carded a 90.

Belmont was led by Shay Sullivan, who shot a 76 on Monday.

The Lady Bisons will take the course again Oct. 14-15 at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate in Clarksville, Tenn.
