NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Lipscomb women's golf team will return to play at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate scheduled for Monday. Originally a two-day event, the intercollegiate has been shortened to just one day, March 24.
The event was shortened due to the expected cold weather forecast.
The 18-hole event will consist of a four-team field: Lipscomb, Trevecca, Belmont and the host Tennessee State.
The teams will be competing at the Hermitage Golf Club on the General’s Retreat course. The 18 holes spread over 6,645 yards.
The event will tee-off at 10:30 Monday.
The Lady Bisons are returning to the links after taking part in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Honolulu, Hi. earlier in March.
In a 15-team field that featured multiple top-50 ranked teams in the nation, Lipscomb finished the event in 14th.
Sami Khan had the best three-round total for Lipscomb, carding rounds of 73-77-83 for a 36th place finish.
