Women's golf tees off spring in Aloha State

KANE‘OHE, Hawaii – The Lipscomb women’s golf team opens spring action on Tuesday and Wednesday participating in the 2015 Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii.

The 54-hole event tees off on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. at the Kane’ohe Klipper Golf Course at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii on the island of Oahu.  The course will play at par 72 at 6,099 yards.

The Lady Bisons are set to battle Baylor, CSUN, Fresno State, Idaho, Middle Tennessee, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Osaka Gakuin (Japan), Southern Illinois, Texas A&M, UTEP, Western Illinois along with the host Rainbows.

The event will feature 36 holes on Tuesday before a round of 18 on Wednesday to complete the tournament.
