NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb women’s golf team will face a challenging slate in 2016-17 head coach Skye Rogers has announced.
The Lady Bisons open up fall action in the Drake Creek Invitational hosted by Murray State on Sept. 12-13 before heading to Glencoe, Alabama for the Chris Banister Golf Classic hosted by Jacksonville State. Lipscomb returns to the Music City on Sept. 30 to take on Tennessee State at McCabe Golf Course in the only match at home this season.
The Purple and Gold open October with a trip to the Magnolia State to play in the Golden Eagle Jam hosted by Southern Mississippi on Oct. 10-11 before closing out the fall with the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate hosted by Evansville on Oct. 24-25.
The spring season opens for the Lady Bisons with the first of two trips to the Sunshine State with an appearance in the Ball State Sunshine Invite on Feb. 10-11 before heading to Kiawah South Carolina Feb. 26-28 for the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Charleston.
March opens with the return trip to Florida with an appearance in the Bulldog Florida Invitational on Mar. 8-9 hosted by Butler. Spring action continues Mar. 26-27 in Carbondale, Illinois with the Saluki Invitation hosted by Southern Illinois.
Regular season action concludes April 6-7 in the Jan Weaver Invitational hosted by Murray State. Postseason play is then slated for April 16-18 at the Chateau Elan Estates Golf and Country Club in Braselton, Georgia.
