Women's golf set for Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Playing against the largest tournament field in the country, the Lipscomb women’s golf team continues spring season action on Sunday-Tuesday at the 2017 Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C.
- The three-day event will be held at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort and played on the Osprey Point and Oak Point courses. Both tracks will play par 72 with the Osprey Point course playing 5,964 yards, while the Oak Point course will play 5,941 yards.
- The event features 43 teams including host College of Charleston. Joining the Lady Bisons in the field are Bethune-Cookman, Boston University, Bucknell, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, The Citadel, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Delaware, East Tennessee State, Elon, Fairleigh Dickinson, Georgia Southern, High Point, Hampton, Hofstra, Indiana State, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Longwood, Loyola Chicago, Marshall, Murray State, North Florida, UNC Asheville, UNCG, Omaha, Oral Roberts, Presbyterian, Richmond, Samford, SCAD, South Alabama, Southern Miss, St. John’s, Stetson, Tennessee Tech, Towson, USC Upstate, William & Mary and Wofford.
