Slate set for women's golf in 17-18

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With new head coach Jesse Lawley at the helm, the Lipscomb women’s golf team is set to take on a challenging schedule in 2017-18 including five events in the fall.

“As a new coach, I am excited for our upcoming season as it is my first season here,” said Lawley. “We have put together a schedule that is probably the best competitive schedule the team has ever seen. We are really looking forward to our five events in the fall, especially the Boston College Intercollegiate. We also look to the spring schedule and the six events we will play. There will be two big events over Spring Break and concluding the season with the ASUN Championship. I look forward to building on last season's progress and building towards the future.”

Herd notes:

  • The Lady Bisons will visit nine different states during the course of the 11 events.
  • The ASUN Championship returns to Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia where Samantha Griffith claimed the 2017 league title. The men’s and women’s teams will once again
  • Lipscomb will play a tournament in the Music City for the first time since 2014 with an appearance scheduled in the Town and Country Invitational hosted by Tennessee State University Oct. 30-31.
