Women's golf wraps up play in Boston College Intercollegiate

CANTON, Mass. – The Lipscomb women’s golf team completed action in the 2017 Boston College Intercollegiate with a16th place finish on Monday at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts.

The Lady Bisons wrapped up the tournament with a +122, 986 (329-312-345).

Herd notes:

  • The Lady Bisons were led by Samantha Griffith, who finished just outside the top-20 in a tie for 21st with a +13, 229 (80-73-76).
  • Charley Benefield ended the 54-hole event with a +27, 243 (79-76-88) in a tie for 64th.
  • Jenny Muesing tied for 79th with a +39, 255 (81-86-88).
  • Ines Konschewitz finished four strokes back of Muesing with a +43, 259 (89-77-93) in 83rd to round out the competitors for the Lady Bisons.
  • Lauryn Davidson withdrew earlier in the tournament due to illness.
  • Richmond claimed top honors in the event with a +23, 887 (301-291-295) to top host Boston College by 11 strokes.
  • Richmond’s Elsa Diaz took home medalist honors with a +1, 217 (77-68-72) to edge out Elon’s Heather Munro by one stroke.
