NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb women’s golf coach Jesse Lawley has announced the signing of two talented high school golfers, Sarah Hinton and Emily Keeling, for the 2018-19 season.

Sarah Hinton / 5-8 / Elizabethtown, Kentucky (Elizabethtown High School)

Thoughts from Lawley - “Sarah will be a lovely addition to the program. Sarah was already committed prior to my hiring this past summer. She stayed committed throughout the coaching change and is excited to be a part of the new era of Lipscomb University golf. She brings talent, academics, and heart to the Lipscomb campus next fall where I am ready for her to wear our colors and compete for the Lady Bisons.”

Emily Keeling / 5-4 / Farragut, Tennessee (Farragut High School)

  • 2015 District Champion
  • Claimed medalist honors at the 2017 PrepXtra Tournament leading the Admirals to the tournament win as well
  • Helped lead Farragut to regional championships in 2014, 2015 and 2017
  • Helped lead Farragut to district championships in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017

Thoughts from Lawley – “Emily will be a great asset to the program. She was one of the first recruits I immediately began actively recruiting when I arrived on campus. Emily is a perfect fit for Lipscomb with her golf and academic ability, and most importantly, her attitude. I am excited that Emily will be arriving on campus next fall and anxious for her to compete wearing the Purple and Gold.”
