Women's Golf heads north to start 2018-19 at NKU Fall Classic

BATAVIA, Ohio. – The Lipscomb women’s golf team is set to get its second season of the Jesse Lawley era underway this weekend in the in the NKU Fall Classic at the Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia, Ohio.

Hosted by Northern Kentucky, the two-day event will get going on Monday at 7:30 a.m. as the Lady Bisons hit the course for the first of two rounds on the opening day.

Herd notes:

  • In its fourth year, the NKU Fall Classic is a 54-hole event with two round on Monday and another Tuesday.
  • Elks Run GC is a par-71 that covers 6,053 yards.
  • Joining Lipscomb in the field is NKU, Cincinnati, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, IUPUI, Morehead State, Oakland, UIC, Youngstown State and defending champion UNC Asheville.
  • Emily Keeling, Emma Wasson, Lauryn Davidson, KiLynn Gold, and Sarah Hinton will compete for Lipscomb as a team and Lily Caroline McDonald will compete as an individual.
