Women's golf completes day one at Jacksonville Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Lipscomb women’s golf team completed day one of the Bubba Burger Jacksonville Classic on Monday in 15th place after two rounds of action.

The Lady Bisons shot a +60, 636 (326-310) on the first 36 holes of the tournament.

Sophomore Emma Wasson paced the Purple and Gold with a score of +10, 154 (79-765). She is tied for 53rd place currently.

Freshmen Emily Keeling (+15, 159) and Sarah Hinton (+16, 160) were up next for Lipscomb in a tie for 68th and a tie for 70th, respectively.

Senior Lauryn Davidson (+19, 163) and sophomore KiLynn Gold (+28, 172) rounded out the Lady Bisons five in 79th and a tie for 83rd.

Coastal Carolina sits atop the leaderboard with a score of +3, 579 (291-288).

College of Charleston’s Olivia Hamilton, Nova Southeastern’s Sophie Madden, Seminole State’s Worapitcha Anndit, and Coastal Carolina’s Jenira Jinangkul are in a four-way tie for first in the individual portion with a -1, 143 mark.
