Women's Golf Ready For French Broad Collegiate Invitational

ARDEN, N.C. - The Lipscomb women's golf team returns to the links this week at the French Broad Collegiate Invitational March 25-26. 

This will be the second tournament in two weeks for the Bisons, who finished in seventh at the Citrus Challenge last week in Orlando.

Junior Rachael McMahan recorded the first top-20 finish in her Lipscomb career at the Citrus Challenge. She finished in a tie for 17th with a 54-hole total of 231.

This is the first-ever French Broad Collegiate Invitational and will be held at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove Course. The course is a par-71 that runs 5,879 yards.

The 11-team field will play 18-holes on Monday followed by a final 18-holes on Tuesday. Teams will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (CST) on both days of competition.
