Women's Golf In 10th After 36 Holes at Jan Weaver Invitational

MURRAY, Ky. - The Lipscomb women's golf team sits in 10th place (315-304=619) after 36 holes at the Jan Weaver Invitational.

The Bisons improved from their first round score of 315 by 11 strokes shooting 304 in the second round to move up two spots on the leaderbaord to end the day.

Host team Murray State leads the field at 585 after posting rounds of 285 and 300.

Freshman Sarah Hinton continues to play well firing rounds of 70 and 74 to put her in a tie for fifth place on the leaderboard at 144. Hinton's first round score of 70 was the first under-par score recorded this spring season for the Bisons.

Emily Keeling bounced back from her first round score of 83 to fire a 74 in her second round. She is tied for 52nd at 157.

The tournament will wrap up tomorrow with 18 holes.
