Women's Golf In Sixth At ASUN Championship

BRASELTON, Ga. - The Lipscomb women's golf team ended day two at the ASUN Championship in sixth place on Monday afternoon.

The Bisons shot a 345 in the second round to give them a 686 (341-345), 36-hole total. Kennesaw State is still the leader at 599 after carding a 290 on Monday.

Junior Rachael McMahan continued to be the leader for the Purple and Gold. She is just outside the top-10 on the leaderboard and is tied for 11th at 158 (80-78) after she fired a 78 in her second round. 

Freshman Sarah Hinton carded an 85 on the day to put her inside the top-25 and is tied for 24th at 171 (86-85).

Lipscomb will finish up with the third and final round tomorrow.
