Women's Golf To Wrap Up Fall Season At Town and Country Invitational

NASHVILLE - The Lipscomb women's golf team will close out its fall season in the Music City with the 3rd annual Town and Country Invitational, Oct. 28-29.

The tournament, which is hosted by Tennessee State, will take place at the McCabe Golf Course just a couple of miles from campus. The course is set for play at par-70 and will run at 5,814 yards.

The eight-team field will play 36-holes over two days of competition, with 18-holes being played on Monday and Tuesday.

In their last time out on the links, the Bisons had another great outing to continue their successful fall season. The Bisons finished tied for second-place at the Lady Red Wolves Classic and set a new school-record for team score in-relation-to-par by firing a 1-over, 289 in the final round.

The Purple and Gold were led by Emily Keeling and Rachael McMahan at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, as the duo both recorded top-five finishes. Keeling finished tied in fourth at 217 (70-70-77), while McMahan finished in sixth, just one stroke behind Keeling, at 218 (74-75-69).

Live scoring will be available through GolfStat.com.
