What is your fondest athletic memory at Lipscomb?
The fondest memory at Lipscomb is having the opportunity to play the game of basketball with great people who understood the game and played with such passion and heart.
Who had the biggest influence on you during your athletic career at Lipscomb?
- In a game against Union University at their place I stole the ball and slammed dunked it. Everybody was in shock.
- Wade Tomlinson in the game would shoot guys down after getting fouled and making the basket. “Shooter McGraw”, -from the movie Happy Gilmore.
- Stealing the ball and giving it up to Tracy Sales, Darren Henrie, and Greg Caudle for dunks. The Rolo Classics were an awesome time.
Coaches, players, professors, Barbara Anderson and Gene, the trainer. They all played an important part in the person I am today.
What is your fondest non-athletic memory from your time at Lipscomb?
Chapel. There were some great speakers. Some put me in left field. One of the fondest memories is having friends from school come to my home and share holiday time with the family.
What is the most valuable thing you gained or learned from your time at Lipscomb?
Relationships, family, commitment, sacrifice, how to be a spiritual man. I learned more about who I am and what I wanted to become. I also learned about people.
Who was your favorite professor?
All the professors were great. Those I had in class and those I had contact outside of class threw sports, Sunday dinners, and casual interaction. We found common interests. I enjoyed hearing their version of what life is all about. Dr. Axel Swang is a character.
Where do you live now?
Who is your employer? What is your occupation? What does your position entail?
Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Disciplinary Hearing Officer. I hear cases on inmates who violate the rules in the facility. I determine guilt or innocence and impose disciplinary actions.
I am also assistant high school women basketball coach at Christ Presbyterian Academy. I am a Life Coach/Mentor for C.M.H. SERVICES.

I have beautiful wife, Rhonda. Also have four-legged Shepherd girl dog name Xena.
