For the first time in program history, the Lipscomb (7-2-4) women’s soccer team has started off Atlantic Sun Conference season with two consecutive victories after Saturday night’s 2-1 victory over the USC Upstate Spartans (2-8-1).
After kicking off Atlantic Sun play with a thrilling 1-0 double overtime win over Kennesaw State last weekend, the Lipscomb women’s soccer team will be bringing the A-Sun action to Nashville with its first home conference matchup of the season.
The Lipscomb (6-2-4) women’s soccer team kicked off Atlantic Sun Conference play with a tightly-contested 1-0 win over Kennesaw State (3-7-1) on Saturday night. In the 110th and final minute of action, Natalie DuBoise slotted in the game-winner off of an assist from Paige Miller.
After successfully finishing the nonconference portion of its schedule with a conference-best 5-2-4 record, the Lipscomb women’s soccer team begin Atlantic Sun action against Kennesaw State Saturday night at 6 p.m.
The Lipscomb women’s soccer team were one of five female programs honored on Wednesday afternoon for its academic success in the 2014-15 season by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Lady Bisons had the highest team GPA among the A-Sun teams with a mark of 3.69.
