Lady Bisons fall 2-0 at Mercer
The Lipscomb Lady Bisons soccer team lost 2-0 Friday night against Mercer in an Atlantic Sun Conference game in Macon, Ga.

The Lady Bisons were held to only three shots. Forward Halie Proffitt attempted the only shot on goal.

Mercer scored one goal in the first half with Ali Meek finding the net at 17:48.

Katheryn Hurst scored a goal for Mercer at 63:01 of the second half. Meek earned one of the assists. Olivia Tucker was also credited with an assist.

Lady Bisons goalkeeper Katie Shelton made 10 saves. Mercer had 21 shots, 12 shots on goal.

The Lady Bisons are back home at noon Sunday at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex to face Kennesaw State in A-Sun action.

The Lady Bisons are 3-9-1, 1-4-0 in the conference. Mercer is 6-4-3, 3-1-1 in the A-Sun.
