Lipscomb University Director of Athletics Philip Hutcheson announced Tuesday that women’s soccer head coach Jon Ireland will not return for the 2012 season. A national search to find a new coach will begin immediately.

Lipscomb women's soccer seniors Danielle Bethke and Kirsten Heikkinen were named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District III First Team, Thursday. They are the first Lady Bisons to be named to the team since 2004.

Lipscomb freshman defender Brittany Rupple was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team, Thursday. The Dallas, Texas native is only the second Lady Bisons soccer player to receive the honor from the conference coaches.
