The Lady Bisons soccer team fell 4-0 Thursday night at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C., in Atlantic Sun Conference play.

Gardner-Webb scored two goals in each period. Angie Harvey and Lauren Potts scored the first half goals at 23:16 and 29:33.

In the second half Leeanna Woodworth scored both goals at 46:07 and 56:11.

Lipscomb goalkeeper Bethany Copeland made 10 saves. The Lady Bisons recorded only two shots with one by Sara Green and one by Melissa Chambers.

Gardner-Webb had 32 shots, 15 in the first half and 17 in the second.

Gardner-Webb also held an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The Lady Bisons 0-9-1 overall, 0-2 in the conference. Gardner-Webb is 4-5 overall, 2-1 in the A-Sun.
