The Lady Bisons attempted another second half rally, but were not able to take game two of a three-game home stand, losing 4-1 to Arkansas-Little Rock.
Freshman forward Halie Proffitt scored her first collegiate goal in the game. She has a goal and an assist in her last two games.
The Lady Bisons held Arkansas-Little Rock to only one first half goal.
Jessica Beaver scored the first goal of the game for Arkansas-Little Rock at the 28:15 mark of the first half.
She struck again with the first goal of the second half at 46:26.
Proffitt's goal pulled the Lady Bisons to within one goal at the 63-minute mark. Freshman midfielder Danielle Stewart was credited with the assist, the first of her collegiate career.
Arkansas-Little Rock opened the lead with a goal by Laura Johnson at 70:13 and another by Courtney Renfro at 79:56.
The Lady Bisons had 10 shots, including five shots on goal. Eight of their shots were in the second half. Proffitt led with both four shots and two shots on goal.
Arkansas-Little Rock made 31 shots, 14 shots on goal. Alex Rustad led with both six shots and three shots on goal.
The Lady Bisons are 0-4. Arkansas-Little Rock is 2-3.
The Lady Bisons close out the home stand Tuesday afternoon at 3 when Jackson State visits.
