Final Stats

History was not in the cards for the Lipscomb Lady Bisons.

Their attempt at a third straight victory, which would have been a first for the program, ended abruptly Sunday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to NCAA Division I newcomer Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C.

Presbyterian out shot the Lady Bisons 30-2. Freshmen Halie Proffitt and Kate Spellman each had one shot for the Lady Bisons. Both were shots on goal.

Presbyterian made 14 shots on goal. Lytle Cannon scored twice for Presbyterian with a goal in each period. Michelle LeVett and Ashley Cook each scored for Presbyterian which scored two goals in each period.

Lady Bisons senior goalkeeper Katie Shelton made 10 saves.

It was the first home win for Presbyterian since making the move.

The Lady Bisons are 2-5. Presbyterian improved to 2-2.
