Lady Bisons fall to Stetson 2-0

The Lipscomb Lady Bisons lost a crucial Atlantic Sun game at Stetson 2-0 Sunday afternoon.

Stetson scored on goal in the first half when Emily Ware scored from the center of the box with a shot that went to the low right side of the net at 35:25.

In the second Stetson struck again when Tessa Gavilsky scored from the left side of the box at 51:58 with a shot from 15 yards out that went to the top side.

Stetson attempted 17 shots with nine shots on goal.

Lady Bisons goalkeeper Katie Shelton was credited with seven saves.

Lacey Cross and Halie Proffitt each attempted a shot for the Lady Bisons. Proffitt made the only shot on goal attempt.

The Lady Bisons are 4-10-2, 2-5-1 in the A-Sun. Stetson is 6-7-2, 4-2-0 in the conference.
